The Friends of Chamber Music are truly committed to not only preserving this eloquent style of musical entertainment, but they also put forth great efforts to organize various performances throughout the year that consistently draw an ever-growing audience.

Experience an interesting display of Stockton's history when you visit Weber Point. This particular site was the first residence of Charles M. Weber, who was the founder of Stockton. This area is now the Weber Point Events Center which is a 9.7-acre area and attraction that features the Great Circle, a plaza, an amphitheater as well as a children's play area with interactive water features. Several large musical events and shows are staged here throughout the year.

Even though you're on the West Coast, there's nothing like the natural spectacle of watching a river run. You can enjoy that beauty thanks to the Calaveras River. This river is situated in the Central Valley and flows roughly southwest for 80 miles from its headwaters in northeast Calaveras County into the San Joaquin River just west of the city of Stockton. The calming sound of the river and the perfect spot for an outdoor picnic awaits just a short drive away.
