Striking out is a good thing when the whole family heads out to Pacific Avenue Bowl. This is one of Stockton's favorite places for great family fun. This bowling facility has been one of the city's most iconic attractions, as it has had its doors (and bowling lanes) open since 1958. Despite its impressive vintage, the venue offers state-of-the-art bowling, a great gaming area, snack bar and more that creates a highly comfortable environment that's safe, enjoyable and perfect for the whole family.
West Lane Bowl has been in business since 1960, and that impressive fact means that they have been providing several generations of bowlers in Stockton the best place to play the game that they love. A great game room, a friendly staff and a nicely-stocked concession area all help ensure a great time that will strike you in just the right way!
Take a leisurely self-guided walking tour of Stockton's first historic district when you explore the Magnolia Historic District. This is not only a multidimensional history lesson of the city, but it also offers a chance to see some highly detailed and impressively constructed architecture. Some of the styles you'll see include Queen Anne, Eastlake, Bungalow, Craftsman, and Spanish Revival. These homes and buildings date back to the 1860s and the area still thrives thanks to the city's successful efforts at rehabilitation, restoration and adaptive reuse. The area is bounded by Harding Way, California Street, Park Street and El Dorado Street.
