The kids will surely jump at the chance to rev it up and go when you take them to visit the Delta Speedway. This attraction is located in San Joaquin County Fairgrounds and has been in operation since 1986. This track is an 1/8 mile dirt oval that accommodates microsprint cars that kids from 5 years of age and up can enjoy. The whole family will be entertained by the rumble of these smaller-than-usual engines as they speed toward the finish line.

Stockton was once home to a thriving Filipino culture. While many Filipinos still make their home here, the older generation may remember when they were all concentrated in the Little Manila section of the city. Today, only three buildings are still standing from what was once the largest thriving Filipino community in the United States. Take a dramatic tour of the Iloilo Circle, the Dimasalang House and the Daguhoy Lodge, the three remaining structures that preserve the Filipino history quite fittingly.

This impressive facility houses creatures from all over the globe that include such popular residents as monkeys, iguanas and a stunning collection of exotic birds and equally interesting amphibians. In addition to offering a great environment to walk around and view the animals in their natural habitats, the zoo also features various seasonal events as well as a variety of educational programs.

The Cosumnes River Walk Trail winds through the Cosumnes River Preserve and offers walkers and hikers the opportunity to see over 200 species of birds that include sandhill cranes and various types of waterfowl. The recreation trail's location as it runs through the Great Valley allows visitors to discover and learn about the wondrous nature that inhabits this magnificent parcel of land.
