Medieval times were long before The Glen Eyrie Castle was built in Colorado Springs by its founding father in the 1800s. The famous city landmark and attraction boasts 67-rooms with 24 fireplaces with a primitive intercom system and chimneys designed to hold smoke until the wind blew the proper direction away from the valley.
