Come and stroll through the Golden Fine Arts Festival, an open-air art gallery showcasing the works of over 140 talented artists. Browse various quality paintings, ceramics, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, mixed media, photography, and sculptures on display. Art enthusiasts are encouraged to shop and help spread the word about the incredible talent of local artists. The event has a rich community tradition and a well-established reputation and features over 100 artist booth spaces. Artists are selected through a competitive jury process overseen by art professionals. More than half of the participating artists usually travel to Golden from outside Colorado.

If you're an animal lover, consider visiting the Wild Animal Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to various rescued animals, such as leopards, cougars, wolves, bobcats, and foxes, all living in species-specific habitats on 320 acres of open grassland. As the largest and oldest nonprofit sanctuary in the United States, the Wild Animal Sanctuary provides a haven for these beautiful creatures, many of whom were rescued from dangerous or abusive situations. The animals, staff, and volunteers at the Wild Animal Sanctuary appreciate your interest in their work to help solve America's captive wildlife crisis.
