The Bar Car is a unique gem in the bustling Colorado Boulevard in Denver. It stands out as more than just an ordinary bar because it is a locally owned neighborhood establishment that takes pride in offering comfort, fun, reasonably priced drinks, and strong community partnerships. As you enter the Bar Car, you'll see old-world decor featuring oil paintings, dark mahogany woodwork, and several brass chandeliers. The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver was established in 1996, initially housed in a renovated fish market. However, it moved to its current spacious facility on Delgany Street in 2007.
