Hang out with the animals at the Denver Zoo. You'll see over 3,500 animals like pandas, flamingos, monkeys, lions, gorillas, tigers, hippopotamuses, snakes, fish, hyenas, and turtles. The 80-acre zoo houses its animals in habitats that best replicate the animal's natural environment.
Eat at one of the oldest restaurants in Denver, The Buckhorn Exchange. The steakhouse has been serving up food since 1893, including exotic fare like alligator tail, rattlesnake, buffalo sausage and the house specialty Rocky Mountain Oysters.
