Come and stroll through the Golden Fine Arts Festival, an open-air art gallery showcasing the works of over 140 talented artists. Browse various quality paintings, ceramics, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, mixed media, photography, and sculptures on display. Art enthusiasts are encouraged to shop and help spread the word about the incredible talent of local artists. The event has a rich community tradition and a well-established reputation and features over 100 artist booth spaces. Artists are selected through a competitive jury process overseen by art professionals. More than half of the participating artists usually travel to Golden from outside Colorado.

The Children's Museum of Denver offers kids a unique and exciting experience that combines learning and fun in one place. With interactive exhibits and activities covering various subjects, including language, math, and the arts, kids can enjoy a hands-on approach to education. Some highlights include dressing up as a firefighter to learn about fire safety or pretending to be a vet or grocery clerk to encourage social interaction with other kids. The Museum's mission is to provide a space for future leaders, innovators, and adventurers to explore, create, and learn at their own pace. Although the exhibits are designed for children aged from newborn to eight years old, everyone can have a great time at the Museum. The exhibits are interactive, one-of-a-kind, and cater to different interests and learning styles.
