The ticket kiosk is located at the base of the monument on 15th Street and opens at 8:30am. Tickets are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The park is situated 14 miles northwest of Washington, DC along the Potomac River in suburban Fairfax County, Virginia. The Washington Wizards are a professional basketball team based in Washington, DC and were previously known as the Washington Bullets. They play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team first hit the court in the late 1960s and has seen its share of victories, especially in what is known as the Miracle Season of 1977-78.
