This museum serves as a museum, library and research center for Florida International University, and houses over 120,000 art pieces in its collection, all ranging in time periods from the Industrial Revolution to the close of WWII. Industrial-design objects, glass and metal works, rare books, paintings, and more are all showcased in the collection; these pieces have been amassed by the museum from countries all over the world.

Visit the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Garden to see a variety of tropical plants from all around the world. The outdoor garden is full of plant life from Southeast Asia, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, and includes a number of fruit and flowering trees.
