Get up-close to the animals at the Miami Metro Zoo. There are over 2,000 animals that call this zoo home, along with 1,200 plant species. As you stroll down the pathways of the zoo, you'll see exhibits and attractions that house tigers, lions, sloths, antelope, kangaroos, monkeys, koala bears, gorillas, elephants, rhinoceros, and hundreds more.

Climb the heights of the indoor peaks at X-treme Rock Climbing. This climbing gym provides indoor rock climbing and lessons, along with a full exercise area and yoga instruction. Before you set out on the 14,000-square-feet of climbing space, you have to sign a waiver and if you're going to enjoy rope climbing you have to pass a Belay Safety Test.

“Shaken, not stirred,” or any other way you prefer your martini, head to the Blue Martini to indulge in a nightlife venue that's got your drink figured out. This club has locations throughout the nation, and they all serve up delicious martinis in a variety of flavors – a few selections from the menu include Pomegranate, Mango Madness, Espresso Martini, Red Apple, Sweet Tea, Almond Joy, Cookies and Cream, and The Perfect Pear.

There's no end to the recreation opportunities available at John Pennenkamp Coral Reef State Park. Fishing, camping and swimming are just the beginning of the fun. The park offers snorkeling tours, scuba diving tours, cruise tours on a glass bottom boat, and canoe and kayak rentals so you can explore the waters on your own.
