With help from The Wolfsonian, examine the social influence of art and design. This museum serves as a museum, library and research center for Florida International University, and houses over 120,000 art pieces in its collection, all ranging in time periods from the Industrial Revolution to the close of WWII. Industrial-design objects, glass and metal works, rare books, paintings, and more are all showcased in the collection; these pieces have been amassed by the museum from countries all over the world.

Accompanying miles of paved trails for walking, running and biking, are amenities like tennis, racquetball and basketball courts, soccer, football and softball fields, a dog park, and four lakes. Explore the architecture of the city with an Art Deco Walking Tour through the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. On the tour, you'll see a variety of buildings like hotels, restaurants and other commercial structures featuring Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern architectural styling. Some of the stops along the way even allow you to see the inside of the buildings.
