Celebrate the arts at one of the nation's premier outdoor art events, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. This event showcases art in various medias, and offers festival-goers the opportunity to purchase art and meet the artists with work featured. The James L. Knight Center is another of Miami's multipurpose entertainment and convention venues. Along with events like graduations and business meetings, the convention center hosts theatrical productions and concerts. Luciano Pavarotti was the first to perform at the venue, followed by a variety of artists that include Metallica, Alicia Keys, Shakira, and David Bowie, among many others.
