The James L. Knight Center is another of Miami's multipurpose entertainment and convention venues. Along with events like graduations and business meetings, the convention center hosts theatrical productions and concerts. Luciano Pavarotti was the first to perform at the venue, followed by a variety of artists that include Metallica, Alicia Keys, Shakira, and David Bowie, among many others.

See the modern and contemporary works featured at the Miami Art Museum. The MAM displays a collection boasting international works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Renown artists who have been featured in exhibits and attractions here include Guillermo Kuitca, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Susan Rothenberg, Janet Cardiff and George Buress Miller.

Snorkel with the fishies, spend a day on a boat, relax on the beach, or suit up for a scuba dive at Biscayne National Park. This park is the largest marine park in the National Park System and protects four ecosystems: a stretch of mangrove forest along the shoreline, the southern portion of Biscayne Bay, the northern Florida Keys, and a part of the world's third-longest living coral reef. All of these ecosystems mean that there's plenty of nature to explore here. There's also a visitor center on site with an art gallery featuring works inspired by the park and other attractions.
