Get up-close to the animals at the Miami Metro Zoo. There are over 2,000 animals that call this zoo home, along with 1,200 plant species. Explore the architecture of the city with an Art Deco Walking Tour through the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. On the tour, you'll see a variety of buildings like hotels, restaurants and other commercial structures featuring Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern architectural styling. Some of the stops along the way even allow you to see the inside of the buildings.

Explore the mysterious structure that is the Coral Castle. This unique stone landmark was constructed by Edward Leedskalnin over a 28 year period, from 1923 to 1951. How one man built this solid stone “castle” is still a mystery – supernatural powers? Superhuman strength? Sheer determination? No one witnessed the building process and Ed refused to share his secret, saying only that he knew “the secret of the pyramids”. Once you tour the massive Coral Castle you'll be in awe, and a little mystified, by the brilliant creation of one man.

Outdoor activities have made a cozy home at Tropical Park. Accompanying miles of paved trails for walking, running and biking, are amenities like tennis, racquetball and basketball courts, soccer, football and softball fields, a dog park, and four lakes. The lakes are perfect spots for boating and fishing. There's something for everyone at this park.
