The James L. Knight Center is another of Miami's multipurpose entertainment and convention venues. Along with events like graduations and business meetings, the convention center hosts theatrical productions and concerts. Luciano Pavarotti was the first to perform at the venue, followed by a variety of artists that include Metallica, Alicia Keys, Shakira, and David Bowie, among many others.

With help from The Wolfsonian, examine the social influence of art and design. This museum serves as a museum, library and research center for Florida International University, and houses over 120,000 art pieces in its collection, all ranging in time periods from the Industrial Revolution to the close of WWII. Industrial-design objects, glass and metal works, rare books, paintings, and more are all showcased in the collection; these pieces have been amassed by the museum from countries all over the world.

Experience a small piece of Cuban culture at Carnival Miami. The festival brings a Carnival-styled celebration to the streets of Little Havana in Miami, and the event is host to concerts, races, food competitions, art and much more.
