Artifacts, photographs, multimedia presentations, slave records, books and more all serve to tell the story and history of African Americans in the Florida area. The items chronicle the civil rights era and events leading up to it, and all are on display at the Wells' Built Museum.
Can you imagine coming face-to-face with a dinosaur in the great outdoors? Experience it at Dinosaur World, where more than 150 life-like recreations stand among the trees and open space. There's also a fossil-dig where kids can sift through the sand like a real paleontologist!
Give your funny bone a workout on the city's nightlife scene at the Orlando Improv Comedy Club. Check out comedians from the national circuit, or show up for the 'Pro & Amateur Showcase' on Fridays.
If there's a show worth catching, you'll find it at the Bob Carr Theater. The center is Orlando's crown jewel of culture, with touring Broadway shows, famed musical acts and don't-miss events and attractions. It's also home to the Orlando Ballet, Orlando Opera and Orlando Philharmonic.
