Catch a rising star in action at the Young Actors Theatre in Tallahassee. Ten thousand patrons each year cheer on the up-and-coming child stars as they perform drama, music and dance entertainment. Past shows include "To Kill a Mockingbird", "The Cat in the Hat", "Seussical the Musical", and "Anything Goes."
Big entertainment stops at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, the city's top venue for concerts, sporting events, and live entertainment. The arena is home to the FSU Men's and Women's Basketball teams, and the stage to world-class talent from Cirque du Soleil, Shrek the Musical, Amy Grant, and Sugarland.
You might get rattled at an athletic event at Florida A&M University! Both the men's and women's teams are nicknamed the Rattlers, and the women's flag football team sports six national championships in the last four years. Enjoy watching the teams play in eight separate sports at various venues, including the Bragg Memorial Stadium, the Al Lawson Center, and the Moore-Kittles Field.
