Bird watchers land at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge in Tallahassee on 68, 000 acres spreading over coastal marshes, islands, tidal creeks and the estuaries of seven north Florida rivers. It's a bird watchers paradise, with hundreds of feathered friends from pelicans to hawks to pigeons and doves inhabiting the area. If it has wings, it's flying here!
Take the family out for some good ol' fashioned roller skating at Skate World. Any pair of skates will do, all you need is a desire to have fun and a helmet, and your family is set to roll. Do you want to learn how to swirl, jump and spin like a pro? Check out the hockey, speed and artistic skating classes.
Big entertainment stops at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, the city's top venue for concerts, sporting events, and live entertainment. The arena is home to the FSU Men's and Women's Basketball teams, and the stage to world-class talent from Cirque du Soleil, Shrek the Musical, Amy Grant, and Sugarland.
