This 30-acre expanse is home to a collection of gardens, including a rose garden, a garden featuring edibles like fruits and vegetables, a conservation garden, a garden featuring water plants and many others. The botanical gardens are sure to be the most colorful attraction you see in Atlanta.

Celebrate the artistic works and achievements of people of African descent at National Black Arts. Enjoy art, music and cultural facets of African heritage. NBAF presents works in the genres of dance, film, literature, music, performance art, theater and visual art. Maya Angelou, Spike Lee, and Gladys Knight have all been featured contributors.

Take in the eerie beauty of Georgia's oldest burial grounds, the Oakland Cemetery. The cemetery was founded in 1850 and there are an estimated 70,000 people laid to rest in its 48-acre expanse. Sections of the cemetery include the New Jewish section, the Black section, the Confederate section, and the cemetery's Original Six Acres; each section represents a different time in history. Some of Atlanta's most important and influential figures are interred here.
