Tour on the Atlanta History Center Tour, and learn about the city from the people who know it best. On your exploration of the 33-acre center, you'll see photographs and artifacts that detail time periods of Atlanta's past. Other features include various gardens, a research library, two historic homes, and the Margaret Mitchell House & Museum.

Take a trip back in time to 16th century England and relive the renaissance era at the Georgia Renaissance Festival. The festival has been a Georgia tradition since 1985, and features a variety of shows with jugglers, musicians, storytelling and jousting - all performed by characters of the royal court. Take a tour of one of Atlanta's historic homes at The Wren's Nest house Museum. The Queen Anne Victorian house is a perfect example of upper middle class living in the 20th century, and was home to Joel Chandler Harris from 1881 to 1908. The National Historic Landmark was named 120 years ago when wrens made a nest in the mailbox - and that is just one of the stories surrounding the legacy of this Atlanta landmark.
