Enjoy a performance at one of Atlanta's most historic venues, the Fox Theatre. The theater originally opened as a movie palace in 1929 and has been providing audiences with entertainment ever since. Presently, the venue books more than 300 performances annually, including productions from the Atlanta Ballet, Broadway touring companies, film series and various cultural events, and concerts by world-famous artists.

Rain or shine, you can always do some recreational rock climbing at the Stone Summit Rock Climbing. Stone Summit invites both beginners and pros to ascend the rock walls throughout the center; the walls range in height from 25 feet to 60 feet. If you still need a workout after your climb, Stone Summit offers a bouldering room, a yoga studio, spin classes, and a fitness center.

Fans of literature and classic film will enjoy a visit to the Margaret Mitchell House. Mitchell was the writer of one of the most cherished stories of her time, Gone With the Wind, which was later adapted to film starring Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. Exhibits at the house museum include Margaret Mitchell: A Passion for Character and The Making of a Film Legend: Gone With the Wind.
