Check out one of nature's odd attractions at Panola Mountain State Park. The park was created in an effort to preserve a 100-acre granite monadnock, or mountain. In all, this state park occupies 1,635 acres and is home to a visitor center, a playground, two fishing lakes, an archery range, and plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking in the great outdoors.

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is Atlanta's premier entertainment destination for Broadway shows, ballet performances, concerts, opera and more. Join in the celebration of Caribbean culture at the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival. Bright costumes, music and parades are a large part of this festival, along with Caribbean food, arts and crafts, and other live entertainment. The festival is celebrated right before Lent, and is somewhat of a "last hurrah" before the observation of the Catholic tradition.
