Take the kids to the Center for Puppetry Arts for a closer look at one of the main forms of child entertainment. Check out the center's museum to see how puppets are made, and get a look at some of famous puppeteer Jim Henson's work while learning about his legacy in the puppet world. After exploring the museum's attractions, watch a puppet production of stories like The Ugly Duckling, The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, and Peter Pan.

Get up-close to some wild animals at the Yellow River Game Ranch. Plenty of nature's creatures and photo opportunities await you here, where you will see deer, bears, cougars, goats, bunnies, buffalo, sheep and more. Hang out with your favorite animals at Zoo Atlanta. Through the zoo's exhibits and attractions, you'll explore the natural habitats of wild animals like tigers, elephants, giraffes, zebras, alligators, orangutans, and pandas. Zoo Atlanta is one of only four U.S. Zoological parks that house giant pandas. You'll get your fill of nature and family time on your visit to the zoo.

You haven't really experienced Southern history until you've toured a genuine plantation home. Journey back through time as you walk through the Archibald Smith Plantation Home. This historic home was built in 1845 and has been preserved over 150 years through the test of time. Exhibits in the home include a feature on the Smith family and their role during the Civil War.
