Cochran Mill also aids with wildlife rehabilitation, taking in injured animals and nursing them back to health when possible, and permanently housing them when unable to return to the wild. Spend a day enjoying outdoor and indoor recreation at the Bessie Branham Park. This park has a recreation center that houses indoor basketball courts, men's and women's locker rooms, a fitness room, library, arts and crafts center, a community room, and more. If you prefer to get some fresh air, hang out at the playground or Urban Tree House outside. There is also a large green area at Branham Park where you can stage a football or baseball game.
