Art connoisseurs and crafty people from all around have made the Atlanta Dogwood Festival a tradition in the city for the past 70 years. The festival takes place in Piedmont Park every spring, and features a variety of art forms. The Queen Anne Victorian house is a perfect example of upper middle class living in the 20th century, and was home to Joel Chandler Harris from 1881 to 1908. The National Historic Landmark was named 120 years ago when wrens made a nest in the mailbox - and that is just one of the stories surrounding the legacy of this Atlanta landmark.
