Take some time to enjoy the sights of Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. The park was built to commemorate the city playing host to the Centennial 1996 Summer Olympics, and features several sculptures and the beautiful Fountain of Rings. Learn about African American history at the Apex Museum. The museum will journey you through African American culture and experiences like slave trade and slavery, segregation, the Civil Rights Movement and lots more. The Apex also features exhibitions dedicated to the many achievements of African Americans.
