Tour on the Atlanta History Center Tour, and learn about the city from the people who know it best. On your exploration of the 33-acre center, you'll see photographs and artifacts that detail time periods of Atlanta's past. Other features include various gardens, a research library, two historic homes, and the Margaret Mitchell House & Museum.

Check out one of nature's odd attractions at Panola Mountain State Park. The park was created in an effort to preserve a 100-acre granite monadnock, or mountain. Stone Summit invites both beginners and pros to ascend the rock walls throughout the center; the walls range in height from 25 feet to 60 feet. If you still need a workout after your climb, Stone Summit offers a bouldering room, a yoga studio, spin classes, and a fitness center.
