Spend a day enjoying outdoor and indoor recreation at the Bessie Branham Park. This park has a recreation center that houses indoor basketball courts, men's and women's locker rooms, a fitness room, library, arts and crafts center, a community room, and more. Check out a piece of urban Atlanta's history by visiting The English-American Building, more widely known as the Flatiron Building. The building is located in the downtown business district and was built in 1897, making it the city's oldest standing skyscraper. The exterior of the Flatiron is mostly original, though the interior has been widely remodeled. If you're into history and architecture, then you'll definitely want to see this historic building.
