The Sedgwick County Zoo continues a 40 year tradition of bringing some of the world's most exotic creatures together so that you and your kids can see fascinating exhibits, attractions, and species like alligators, gorillas, lions, and bears all residing in the zoo's meticulously kept environments. With nearly 500,000 guests walking through its gates annually, the zoo's staff works hard to make sure that your visit will be as fun as it is educational.

Combining classical masterpieces as its soundtrack, such notable productions like Alice in Wonderland, Swan Lake and La Boheme are presented by some of the area's most accomplished performers. Their skills are only accentuated all the more by the stellar musicianship of their accompanying orchestra, the sets and backdrops that help tell the story, and the tireless work of many stage managers, costumers and directors.
