And not only will you hear classics by the composers you love, the performers that are slated to appear are just as exciting, with Chris Botti, Terrence Wilson, and Julie Albers all scheduled to perform in the upcoming season. If you've never experienced the wide, panoramic sound of the symphony, get your tickets for yourself and a guest, get dressed up and come and feast your ears on some of the greatest music ever made.

The Old Cowtown Museum makes it possible to really travel back in time without the aid of a time machine! Return to the Old West as Wichita and Sedgwick County are recreated between 1865 and 1880. Take a ride in a covered wagon, dress up in the costumes of the day to take an old-style photograph, and see genuine artifacts from the era in the museum. And don't forget to see the historic buildings on your way to the gift shop to take home a memento of your time in Old Cowtown.

Chivalry is not dead! At least it's not at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival. Mark your calendars for the second week in October and be there to see knights and fair maidens take over Sedgwick County Park. You'll feel like you've traveled back in time as you explore a medieval village, with authentic costumes on display, antiquated entertainment, and lots of great food and family fun.
