A Beat Away Entertainment

With two theaters under one roof, it should be no surprise that the Citi Performing Arts Center offers a wide variety of entertainment. The Wang Theatre and the Shubert Theatre host everything on their stages, from cultural presentations to Broadway and theater productions, concerts from world famous talent and other musical performances.

Hang out with some of nature's most fascinating creatures at the Franklin Park Zoo. You'll see animals like tigers, kangaroos, leopards, lions, zebras, gorillas and more, throughout exhibits like Serengeti Crossing, Outback Trail, Tiger Tales, and Kalahari Kingdom. In all, there are over 1,000 animals living at the zoo.

Step into the opulence of yesteryear and tour the Otis House Museum. The house is the last surviving mansion in what used to be Boston's most affluent neighborhood in the 18th century; the man who owned the home, Harrison Gray Otis, was a lawyer who served in Congress and was mayor of the city at one time. The Otis House is still decorated with furnishings that were the best of their time period, including fine furniture pieces and art work.

Soak up some sun at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. Boston's first waterfront park offers a gorgeous view of the harbor, along with playgrounds, fountains, public art and monuments, space to run, and places to lay out and bask in the beauty of nature. You'll enjoy time spent outdoors here.
