The museum retells the Boston Tea Party event, considered to be one of the major catalysts of the American Revolution. Attractions to see here include replica ships of those involved with the Tea Party, and reenactments of important happenings from before and after the momentous event.

Enjoy another facet of Boston's Emerald Necklace, and spend a day outdoors at Jamaica Pond. The pond is the largest body of water within the “necklace” park system and proves to be a beautiful destination to absorb the surrounding natural scenery. Spend a day enjoying recreation at the Myles Standish State Forest. With camp grounds, recreation trails, and 16 ponds, there's plenty to do here. Enjoy fun sports and recreation activities like camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, canoeing, picnicking and much more. During the appropriate seasons, skiing and hunting are allowed as well.
