Follow the red-brick road, otherwise known as Freedom Trail. The trail stretches 2.5 miles and leads the way to 16 historical sites that are significant to American history. Some of the sites and attractions include the Boston Common, the Old State House, the Bunker Hill Monument, the Paul Revere house and the site of the Boston Massacre.

Head to Spectacle Island for some fun and recreation in the sun. From hiking and biking to swimming and boating, there's a variety of things you can do here that will get your blood pumping. Before or after your workout, stop by the visitor center to explore exhibits about the island's history and development. You can also get a great look at the city from the hilltop.

Experience the Boston HarborWalk to see the best and most significant sights in the city. The Gibson House Museum is a landmark that serves as a perfect example of an early American home. The house was built in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood in 1860 and was home to three generations of the Gibson family. The Victorian-era home is complete with furnishings that echo the time period of its occupation.
