For a day outdoors, the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway is the perfect place to hang out. The greenway is comprised of 1.5 miles of park space, meaning there's plenty of opportunity for recreational fun in nature. Public art, gardens and fountains can be found throughout the greenway. This incredible stretch of land is also surrounded by some of the city's most important neighborhoods, including the Wharf District and Chinatown.
Relive an important and historic moment in American history at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. The museum retells the Boston Tea Party event, considered to be one of the major catalysts of the American Revolution. Attractions to see here include replica ships of those involved with the Tea Party, and reenactments of important happenings from before and after the momentous event.
Strap on your skates and tear up the ice at the Boston Common Frog Pond. If you're not so good on your feet, sign up for skating lessons; if you know what you're doing with those skates, show off on the ice. Also, the pond features College Night on Tuesdays. Get a little cold on the ice? Stop at the Frog Pond Cafe for a cup of coffee to keep you warm.
