If you're a book lover there's no better way to celebrate that than by visiting the Boston Public Library, the nation's second largest library. This huge library is home to around 6.1 million books, in addition to about 1.7 million rare books and manuscripts that feature records from colonial Boston, early works of William Shakespeare and the personal book collection of John Adams.

“Look closer, dig deeper” at the Harvard Museum of Natural History. The museum showcases several exhibits that have to do with natural history, including Arthropods: Creatures that Rule, Fossil Mammals, New England Forests, and Minerals, Gems, & Meteorites. You'll learn so much about the world around us through the fun sights here.

The whole family will appreciate the entertainment produced by the Wheelock Family Theatre. Classic stories like Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, Pippi Longstocking, The Wizard of Oz, and Charlotte's Web have wowed audiences here. If your Christian faith is something near and dear to you, or if you have a love for beautiful and historic architecture, then you must tour the Trinity Church Boston. This Episcopal church and architectural attraction was built in the late 1800s and the American Institute of Architects considers it to be one of the “Ten Most Significant Buildings in the United States”. Intricate stained glass windows, elaborate murals, and dramatic architectural features are all elements of this gorgeous landmark building.
