Visit the "kid-powered" Port Discovery Children´s Museum, designed specifically for guests between the ages of 2 and 10. Ranked among the Top 5 Children´s Museums by Child Magazine, Port Discovery offers three floors of interactive, hands-on exhibitions, attractions, and programs that will spark imaginations.
During the first weekend of each May, spend four days watching top-notch film and video work from all over the world at the Maryland Film Festival. Hundreds of filmmakers attend the screenings of the approximately 50 feature films and 75 short films. Enjoy every type of film: narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, hybrid and others. You may possibly meet celebrity guests as well.
When you visit the Baltimore Art Museum, be sure to stop by the Wurtzburger Sculpture Gardens. Located outside of the museum, this sculpture garden contains gargantuan masterpieces of modern and contemporary sculpture scattered across the verdant landscape. This meeting of art, horticulture, and the great outdoors presents 34 sculptures from various artists, created throughout the past 100 years.
