Famous for his haunting poetry and short stories, Poe began his life in this two-and-a-half story duplex. The home has been converted to represent and reflect the life of Poe and contains materials owned by Poe such as his writing desk, on public display. Tour the historic USS Constellation. Part of the Historic Ships in Baltimore, one of the most impressive collections of military vessels in the world, the USS Constellation was commissioned in 1855 and served until World War I. After her second decommission, this Civil War Era sloop-of-war was moved to Baltimore´s Inner Harbor and preserved.
