Tour the historic USS Constellation. Part of the Historic Ships in Baltimore, one of the most impressive collections of military vessels in the world, the USS Constellation was commissioned in 1855 and served until World War I. After her second decommission, this Civil War Era sloop-of-war was moved to Baltimore´s Inner Harbor and preserved.

Take a break from the concrete jungle at the smaller, 6-acre Sherwood Gardens. Located in the Guilford neighborhood, this public garden began as an outdoor hobby of John W. Sherwood in the 1920s and originally consisted of a few of his tulips imported from the Netherlands. Now, Sherwood Gardens contains approximately 80,000 tulip bulbs and hundreds of other plants collected from the gardens of Colonial estates.

Treat your ears to a masterpiece performance by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. This professional symphony orchestra has put on soulful concerts and live entertainment year-round since its formation in 1916. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra acts as Maryland´s musical ambassador to the world, and, despite calling the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall home, the orchestra maintains a regular performance presence at Carnegie Hall.
