Listen to the lovely ladies of the Pride of Baltimore Chorus put on a performance of the highest possible level. This 110 member all-female, a cappella chorus has members from five different states, and serves as a chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, the world´s largest women´s singing organization. Catch an official performance, or stop by to watch (and possibly join in) a rehearsal!
Head out for some sports action at a ball game at Oriole Park in Camden Yards to see the Baltimore Orioles take the field. If Birds hit it out of the stadium, beware! Long fly balls have been known to travel out towards the Babe Ruth Birthplace & Museum.
Visit one of the most dynamic cultural and educational institutions. The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum is one-of-a-kind, dedicated to preserving important figures in African American history and providing images of role models to motivate youths. The life-size, life-like wax figures highlight historical and contemporary personalities of African ancestry.
Tour the historic USS Constellation. Part of the Historic Ships in Baltimore, one of the most impressive collections of military vessels in the world, the USS Constellation was commissioned in 1855 and served until World War I. After her second decommission, this Civil War Era sloop-of-war was moved to Baltimore´s Inner Harbor and preserved.
