Hosted by the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Baltimore, the Greek Folk Festival is the largest Hellenic festival in the Mid-Atlantic area. For more than 30 years, the Greek Folk Festival has showcased a multitude of Greek culture and talent. Take your bike out for a spin along the 15-mile Gwynns Falls Trail. This open trail system offers a unique urban biking or hiking recreation trail along the historic, scenic Gwynns Falls Greenway. This greenway travels through over 30 neighborhoods and offers a safe, environmentally friendly trail for bikers and hikers.

One of the oldest scientific institutions in the nation, the Maryland Science Center has undergone quite a few changes since its inception in 1797. The most recent renovation in 2004 expanded the facility and added new exhibitions on all levels. In addition to the exhibits, the Science Center also houses a planetarium, observatory, and an IMAX theater.

Discover the world from under the sea at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Built to inspire visitors to celebrate and nurture the world´s aquatic habitats, from tropical rain forests to coral reefs, this public aquarium contains three buildings worth of fascinating creatures and family fun. Among major attractions are the dolphin display, central ray pool, multiple-story shark tank and the rooftop rainforest.
