Unlike the bird from Poe´s famous poem, the Baltimore Ravens never say "nevermore," especially when facing the New York Giants in the Super Bowl. This professional football franchise originated as a quasi-expansion in 1995 when the owner of the Cleveland Browns decided to relocate to Baltimore. A Ravens game is the ultimate destination for hard-hitting sports action in Baltimore.

One of the oldest scientific institutions in the nation, the Maryland Science Center has undergone quite a few changes since its inception in 1797. The most recent renovation in 2004 expanded the facility and added new exhibitions on all levels. In addition to the exhibits, the Science Center also houses a planetarium, observatory, and an IMAX theater.
