One of the oldest scientific institutions in the nation, the Maryland Science Center has undergone quite a few changes since its inception in 1797. The most recent renovation in 2004 expanded the facility and added new exhibitions on all levels. In addition to the exhibits, the Science Center also houses a planetarium, observatory, and an IMAX theater.

Take your bike out for a spin along the 15-mile Gwynns Falls Trail. This open trail system offers a unique urban biking or hiking recreation trail along the historic, scenic Gwynns Falls Greenway. This greenway travels through over 30 neighborhoods and offers a safe, environmentally friendly trail for bikers and hikers.

Revel in the energy of the Cabaret at Germano´s. This Italian restaurant´s upstairs dining room is rearranged during show nights so audience members can enjoy a variety of performers from the worlds of theater, popular song, jazz, classical music, and opera in a cozy, intimate nightlife setting.
