Catch a flick from overseas (or from across the street) at the Stella Artois St. Louis International Film Festival, one of the largest film festivals in the Midwest. More than 300 international and independent films are screened during this festival, many of which simultaneously make their first and final Missouri theatrical appearances.
Visit the city's original bowling and martini lounge in The Loop. Pin-Up Bowl opens in the afternoon and closes at 3am. All ages are welcome with a responsible adult, until 9pm when the lounge becomes 21+ and the party starts. Walk-ins are welcome, but be sure to reserve a lane for larger parties because this bowling venue is popular among both tourists and residents of St. Louis.
Visit the city's first historic house museum, the Eugene Field House & St. Louis Toy Museum which contains a variety of material related to the Dred Scott trial and his lawyer, Roswell Field, as well as toys, books and furniture dating back to that time period.
Voted Best Wine Store, 33 Wine Shop & Tasting Bar is located next to Bailey's Chocolate Bar. 33 offers a cozy sitting area inside and outside patio in Lafayette Square, where you can relax and browse the 20-page wine, beer and cheese list. If you fall in love with a drink while enjoying the nightlife venue's atmosphere, stop by the retail area to buy a bottle to take home.
