The McColl Center for Visual Art invites you to come in and actually interact with the artists as they create. Far from a stuffy atmosphere, the McColl Center makes an effort to be both educational and accessible. There staff and artists make it a point to always be aware of various community issues and needs, both in their individual work and the mission of the venue itself. Art lovers are invited to walk around and visit the artists-in-residence as they work on their latest creations.

SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord sends guests through a 36,000 square foot interactive aquarium experience that brings you face-to-face with over 5,000 creatures including sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, seahorses and much more! SEA LIFE transports visitors into the amazing underwater world. Prepare for astonishingly close views of everything!

Fans of nature will gravitate to the outdoor beauty that lives at the UNC-Charlotte Botanical Gardens. This is where you will find several different varieties of plants and flowers that all make this place a truly captivating experience for the senses. You'll find several fine examples of rare species, as well. Plus, the two-story rain forest is something that no visitor to the garden should miss. This incredible slice of nature is located on the campus of the University of North Carolina, and if you are planning to take a group that has more than 10 people in it, you must schedule your visit.
