Or, if you prefer, ride along with a professional driver and experience the thrill of high-speed NASCAR racing, reaching a top speed of approximately 165 MPH. Ready to get behind the wheel? The Richard Petty Rookie Experience is perfect for you. You'll drive a 5.8-liter, 358 cubic inch V8 vehicle with 600 horsepower for 8 minutes on a race track. Before starting, you'll receive mandatory orientation, including in-car and on-track instruction and safety training from professional racecar drivers. You'll also get outfitted in a driver's suit, neck guard, and regulation helmet and have a photo session with your NASCAR-style vehicle. Once you've completed your experience, you'll receive a graduation packet and a time sheet showing your lap breakdown.
