You'll find the nature conservation located in the easternmost part of the Mojave Desert, about 15 miles west of Las Vegas. The area is home to the Keystone Thrust, or Wilson Cliffs, which is a large red rock formation with sandstone peaks and walls up to 3,0000 feet high. Explore one of the city's most popular destinations for hiking, rock climbing, bicycling, and camping.
Part cultural institution, part museum, part gallery, part event venue, part botanical garden – there's not much that the Springs Preserve doesn't cover. The Preserve does its part to present the history and nature of Las Vegas. Many of the exhibits showcase educational bits about native animals, and many of the activities at the Preserve involve arts and crafts, and lots of fun.
