The Plaza Hotel & Casino is excited to introduce The Sand Dollar Downtown, a new venue offering live music and craft cocktails. This iconic bar in Las Vegas provides free nightly entertainment from local and national bands, as well as original handcrafted cocktails, pizza, and pool tables. The Sand Dollar Downtown is the second location of the iconic blues bar and remains true to its original vibes. With a larger area of 4,000 sq. ft., the new location can accommodate an estimated 300 guests and is situated adjacent to the casino floor of Plaza Hotel & Casino. Vegas Theatre Company is a group of five theatre program graduates from the University of Nevada who aim to provide compelling theatrical productions that showcase shared human experience, awaken senses about the world, and develop art forms and artists. Their stories unite people, and they strive to become an entirely professional regional theatre in an innovative and adaptable venue in the heart of Vegas, specifically the Art Square Theatre. They aim to collaborate with local creators and artists to create theatrical productions that appeal to a broader audience. They also aim to develop a robust outreach program throughout Nevada that focuses on Nevada's youth and underserved populations.

The Fremont Street Experience is a must-see destination in Las Vegas, spanning five blocks of Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. This portion of the street is closed to traffic for visitors to enjoy the attractions. The main feature at FSE is the 1,500-foot-long LED screen canopy that illuminates with over 12 million LED lamps. The canopy screenplays show Lucky Vegas, American Freedom, Don McLean's American Pie, A Tribute to Queen, and KISS Over Vegas while music blares in the background. It's worth keeping an eye on FSE's calendar as two stages on site have hosted concerts from bands like Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Joe Diffie, Foghat, the Doobie Brothers, and more. The majority of the concerts held at the attraction are free.
