Join thousands of attendees of all ages for a day-long bazaar of books, authors, readings, and workshops - all free and open to everyone. LVBF's programming is to share resources, develop audiences, advance writing skills, and encourage reading. There's something for everyone, from politics to Las Vegas history, romance novels, science fiction, Latino authors, thrillers, and more. LVBF also has a youth component with a children's area, live author readings, and illustrator demonstrations. The Plaza Hotel & Casino is excited to introduce The Sand Dollar Downtown, a new venue offering live music and craft cocktails. This iconic bar in Las Vegas provides free nightly entertainment from local and national bands, as well as original handcrafted cocktails, pizza, and pool tables. The Sand Dollar Downtown is the second location of the iconic blues bar and remains true to its original vibes. With a larger area of 4,000 sq. ft., the new location can accommodate an estimated 300 guests and is situated adjacent to the casino floor of Plaza Hotel & Casino.
