Visiting this preserve is like going on your very own desert safari. The sanctuary also offers a great learning experience thanks to the professionals that work there. The helpful staff is always ready to answer your questions about their furry residents. This wildlife sanctuary is an ideal destination for animal and nature lovers.

Roller Kingdom is so much more than just a roller rink! The family will love not only the big skating area, hi-tech light show and sound system, but there's also the very popular Laserstorm Laser Tag and the latest in video games. Every Thursday is family night at this attraction.

The Nevada Historical Society is a museum that highlights some of Reno's key historical pieces like an architectural drawing of the State Building as well as other artifacts, documents and photographs that tell the story of how this part of the state was key to Nevada's economic and geographical development. Visiting the Nevada Historical Society is a nice break from the usual bustle, and you'll learn quite a bit about the ever-developing desert city that is Reno.
